Kerry spoke with Clark for an hour and a half of the two hour flight (to Washington D.C.).

The most unusual scene of the flight was watching as flight attendants and campaign staffers attempted to lure the candidate from the back cabin as the plane was within the FAA mandated 30-minute zone outside Washington.

Kerry, with one federal agent in tow and 13 others in the back of the plane, eventually complied.

The General snatched a press seat, preferring to chat up reporters rather than enjoy any further face time with the ascending leader of the Democratic party.

Word is that Gen. Wesley Clark was to be joining Sen. John Kerry on the return flight to Washington from Kerry's Little Rock campaign stop. He'll be meeting with Kerry at Kerry's Georgetown home. Could that mean discussions about the No. 2 spot on the Kerry ticket? Clark's new PAC to support Democratic campaign efforts couldn't hurt his standing.
