Why is Puerto Rico considered friendly for Clinton? |
|
Every primary outside of the continental United States is going overwhelmingly for Obama, so what makes Puerto Rico different? The neighboring Virgin Islands went 92% to Obama. I understand the heavy hispanic population in Puerto Rico, but do they share the same mindset that has continental United State hispanics preferring Clinton?
Virgin Islands 92% Obama - 8% Clinton
Dems Abroad 66% Obama - 33% Clinton
Alaska 75% Obama - 25% Clinton
Hawaii 76% Obama - 24% Clinton

11. PA was the only state left that was suppose to count. |
|
Now that they see that being taken away as well, she wants to make it so no one else wins.

3. I think Hillary Clinton assumes she |
|
will get the Hispanic vote there, just because she has enjoyed it so far.
However, what they said about Gov. Bill Richardson, the only hispanic Govenor in the U.S., I doubt very seriously she will continue to hold that support.
He was trashed, and if I was hispanic, I would retreat from Sen. Clinton, but that's me

4. Yeah, it blew my mind when Margaret Carlson uttered this bunk on MSNBC. |
|
My goodness, IMO, the full support of the ONLY Hispanic Governor of the USA should go a long way into scoring more attention if, not more votes, from the good Americans in Puerto Rico?!?
Perhaps the M$M *shameless attempts* to boost up HRC to stay in this insane horse race is the rationale that, like her husband, if HRC gets in the WH, it will be FULL MEDIA CONSOLIDATION "green light" for the fat cat CEOs of these organizations.
Further, HRC won't quit ... EVER even to the point of campaigning for McCain (on the sly) because the Clintons FEAR the release of their WH Records almost as much as Little Boots and Poppy do theirs.

7. Where does the Puerto Riccans get their political info? |
|
Edited on Wed Mar-26-08 06:44 AM by aaroh
I think it depends on the extent of the freedom of the press in Puerto Rico that will determine a candidate's electability in that soveriegn state.
If they source most of their info from the internet then Puerto Rico will favour Obama

8. A little known fact about Puerto Rico is that |
|
one of their favorite pastimes is embellishing mundane events into near death experiences.
It's a cultural thing and Hillary's experience just sort of dovetails with it.

9. Clinton hasn't been right about ANY prediction regarding this campaign... |

She's becoming Rumsfeldesque in her prognostications.
