HRC blah blah blah, Obama blah blah blah, WHO is leading in Popular Vote, State Wins, Popular Count? |
|
THAT IS WHO IS BEING CHOSEN BY THE VOTERS.
When a sports team is in the lead and we really want the "OTHER" team to win, do we start changing the rules in the middle of the game? Do we start dissecting the lives of the various players and then their family and friends and PASTORS? Do we decide that the game should last longer and change the time clock? (Oh, wait, we do have baseball....yawn.) Why can rules be disregarded so that YOUR candidate can keep running even though it is just about statistically impossible for them to win UNLESS a miracle or tragedy happens?
Facts are facts and unfortunately things don't always work out the way you plan or want them to work out.
The problem is, what are you really willing to sacrifice? A Presidential Legacy being dragged into the mud? A woman candidate getting shrill and conniving and manipulative to stay in the race? This will set other women candidates back years for their possible aspirations. Setting the tone for other women candidates means something here to, doesn't it?
I am getting more and more embarrassed while I watch desperation and dishonesty surface, becoming more and more obvious. It makes me have to hang my head down a little bit more when people who originally said that the Clintons were viscous in their politics are being proven right. All of my defending them is now becoming more and more, egg on my face.
Obama has already won, he came from nowhere and nothing to beat down Goliath. The opponent with the "Machine" behind her, a phenomenal war chest of money to run on, AND the name recognition - all at the start of this race. THIS is what change looks like people. See it, hear it, smell it, EMBRACE IT. The mainstream, political giant of a candidate being matched and beaten by a candidate with no name. We should be rejoicing that after all of the years of begging and praying for the Democratic Party to serve up something and someone who would be symbolic of us and someone who could take us to a higher level is here. And what are the "establishment" members doing? They are fighting scared for their own political careers, not for us, but for THEMSELVES.

4. The Clinton team has 400 yards rushing and 200 yards passing |

Obama's team only has 200 yards rushing and 100 yards passing.
So just because the Obama team has 24 points to the Clinton's 12, it doesn't mean Obama's winning...
:sarcasm:

11. As far as I can tell, both candidates are running according to the rules established by the DNC. |
|
If the nomination is determined by the superdelegates, that will be according to the rules. The superdelegates are not obligated to honor the popular vote with their selection. These were the rules before this primary season began, so those are the rules that should be adhered to for the nomination.
