Hillary's national positive rating is reaching Bush-like territory. |

I thought that might be a useful note to make, for people to get a perspective. Her newest national positive opinion rating, the closest thing to an approval number for someone not in national office, is 37 percent. Bush is hovering somewhere between 28 and 35, depending on what poll you read.
Outside of the Democratic party, Clinton is nearly as unpopular as Bush is. It's worth remembering that. Winning the presidency with 45% positives is insanely difficult--with 37% positives, it's impossible.
