1. And in his inaugural address, Pres. Kerry says,
"The American people have given me an overwhelming mandate to change the course of America. I thank them for their confidence, and hope wo work with the new Democratic majorities in both houses of Congress to restore the United States' honor among nations and with the American people."

"This is breaking news. The U.S. Central Command has confirmed that Osama Bin Laden has been killed in a firefight with American troops on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. More on this story as it develops."

5. We can only hope the American people would see through that.
I fear they wouldn't. :(

8. I went with #1.
I just don't see things improving for Bush all that much, and I think Kerry will win in a walk, if not a landslide.

10. 20 January 2009: "I, John Forbes Kerry, do solemnly swear..."
Okay, maybe that's a bit optimistic. :) I'd say somewhere between choices one and two. I think he can win by a comfortable margin - in the 280-320 area - and hopefully enough that we won't be held up by one state.

11. 29 October 2004: Fox News has confirmed that the Gipper is dead at 93
30 October 2004: Fox has just confirmed that 100,000+ rounds of VX and sarin, drones capable of hitting NYC, and yellow-cake uranium have all been foundin the desert near Tikrit. Apparently letters of correspondence between Saddam and Osama were also found with the WMD cache.

12. 29 October 2004, same article in Washington Post
"30 October 2004: Washington Post has just confirmed that 100,000+ rounds of VX and sarin, drones capable of hitting NYC, and yellow-cake uranium have all been foundin the desert near Tikrit, with Made In USA written on the packages. Apparently letters of threatening, angry correspondence between Saddam and Osama were also found with the WMD cache."

I think Kerry will be a two term president.

13. What I find even more promising that formal polls
Are ine online polls on MSNBC and other media outlets, most of which have Kerry winning big time. The latest MSNBC online poll:

If the presidential election were held this week, who would you vote for? * 117189 responses

George W. Bush
36%

John Kerry
60%

Ralph Nader
4%

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/5005061/

Almost 120,000 people voting in this thing, and scientific or not, for 60 percent of 120,000 people to bother to take the polls and select Kerry is probably a better indicator of the pulse of the country than a Zogby or American Research poll with supposed random sample of less than 1000 people. in somre cases less than 500.

14. Yes, they've been trending up over last couple of months
I've been watching the msnbc.com online poll and I think Kerry's been in the lead since he sewed up the nomination but it's gone from 5% to 25%.

Apparently there are more solid Dems online but THAT many more?
