Restore unity here at GDP or scream, punch, yell? |
|
I believe most of the people of this forum would prefer to restore unity. The best way to do that is to promote the more serious intellectual posts and let the argumentative posts sink. REGARDLESS which side it favors, if the post is something a Republican would like to read, let it sink. We have been our own worst enemies here. I have seen several well thought out posts sink to the bottom because they were not negative or controversial. I have read some who favored my candidate but casts too much negative on the other candidate and I refused to post a reply. When we all can unite (or most of us) in being selective about which posts we read, reply to and promote, we can restore a sense of dignity to this forum. Until then, it is warfare of which, I, for one, will not participate in.
I would rather have some civilized, intellectual debate than the screaming, punching, and yelling in this forum.
Just sayin'

1. Get rid of all the trolls and sockpuppets, and maybe that will happen. |

Don't hold your breath, though.
A lot of old friends have taken a powder. Sick to death of the bullshit and vitriol. It's pretty childish, unless you're spoiling for a fight....
