Wouldn't that make an excellent Kerry campaign slogan or ad:
"It isn't that complicated if you know what you're doing."
While the Repubs are wallowing in nuance and confusion, a simple sound-bite like this would break through to sensible, middle-of-the-road Americans.

I think that it is complicated; it's the nature of any undertaking with so many variables and influences. That said, I agree that better decisions require looking at the big picture. I think that getting across the message that we have a candidate who can look beyond his business connections and ultra-religious influences to really see what's good for the majority of our citizens.
