Veteran for Kerry on my car, right above my Clark 04 sticker. Anticipating the ticket. Farther down the window, Re-elect Dennis Moore (our congress guy) and on the other side, an American Flag that says "United We Stand"--isn't that a joke? Well, at least we Dems are united... for Dems.

On hubby's car, Veteran for Kerry, Clark 04, and a Bush Lied sticker.

All hubby's co-workers at the railyard have been asking for Veteran for Kerry bumper stickers, but haven't been able to get my hands on any.

67. I have two stickers,
Edited on Thu Jun-03-04 12:21 AM by kurtyboy
One Vets for Kerry, and one DU. Lately I've been getting lots of thumbs-up signals on the freeway--I reckon they're from folks who like the Vets/Kerry angle--or perhaps they just like vets!

I also have a sticker "unstuck" in the window that says "Civil Unions for All"--it's harder to see and gets less attention.

What's more, I have distributed more than two hundred stickers, more than six hundred buttons, more than one hundred rally signs and nearly one hundred yard signs--and I've almost recouped my costs from donations.

Try it yourself--it'll work!

I have a Kerry bumpersticker. I bought it, but I'm afraid to put it on my car. I don't want my windows to get smashed or to be a victim of some kind of wierdo fundie road rage. Also, I work for a defense contractor and I'm afraid my career will suffer if it becomes known I'm not a Bushie.

As I proofread this I realize that I sound totally paraniod. Am I?

68. Probably you are paranoid.
When I put my Democratic Underground sticker on my vehicle two years ago a guy who works for the State Dem party said I had a lot of chutzpah--and I could expect my vehicle to get vandalized in short order.

I left it, and he was wrong of course. And now I feel prouder all of the time that I didn't listen to him. Besides that, a vehicle is only a piece of steel--does that have as much importance as your voice?

And my son, the Marine, isn't happy about it. He's all for Kerry -- just doesn't think a Saleen should be defaced by bumper stickers, even the one that says, "My Son Is A U.S. Marine." I promised him that they would all come off after the election.

(I also have one for Patrick Rose, Democrat for Texas House of Representatives. Go Patrick!)

48. My homemade is...
a plexiglass about 4"x16" held in place with glass clingy.

I print up my signs on legal size paper so that I have two messages when folded and stood like a tent. The message I want displayed is position outwards over the plexiglass. When I want to change it it only takes a few seconds.

The font size is at least 90pt.

34. Yes. I've got a Kerry and anti-Bush sticker
I've got the Kerry for President sticker and "I don't have to like Bush to Love America" sticker. I live in a kind of conservative area ,and unfortuntately I've seen more Bush stickers than Kerry. Just today I saw a van with a Bush/Cheney sticker. It makes me nauseous every time I see it.

I have this thing where I try to speed up and pass the Bush/Cheney cars so that they can see my Kerry sticker and maybe get a little nervous about where they stand.

I have seen several anti-Bush stickers. I saw one on a pickup truck that said "Like Father like Son: One Term" That one lifted my spirits. I did finally see a Kerry for President sticker the other day and I cheered in my car. How sad :P

driving on the NY Thruway yesterday when I passed a semi. After I was by him he beep- beeped me. It sounded like a happy beep- and I always pass very safely so it wasn't that. It took me a few minutes to realize he was commenting on my sticker. No other stickers on my car at the moment. It must have been a gesture of solidarity, right?

37. Yes! And these anti-Shrub ones:

After putting those on my bumper I realized I didn't have room for these two

So, my dad asked if he could put them on his truck!

This is news because my dad is not very political. He always votes Dem but that's about the extent of it. He always laughs about how riled up me and my mom get. So, when he asked to put those stickers on his truck I was thrilled. He said Bush is an embarrassment to this country and he liked to piss off as many of his supporters as possible. We live in East TN (near Knoxville) so there are a lot of them around here.

I have to add that so far I have only seen about 2 Chimpy stickers around here. It's weird.

40. On my car
And I also put up the Kerry for President sign in my apartment window.

This is a dangerous act, as this is serious Bush country, where the people have bumper stickers saying Jesus is lord over this city, there are Bush stickers everywhere. And this is a ccounty in Florida where 37,000 democratic votes completely disappeared in 2000.(thrown out as votes of ex felons, with no serious searching into the issue as to whetther the people were really ex felons, or inadverently placed on the list). I was trying to get into the public library the other day and was stopped by a Republican runniing for office in front of the building, and when I commented about republicans, by stating that I didnt want to be held accountable for signing any petition for a republican to get enough signatures to get on the ballot, she said Democrats are'nt wanted in this town anyway.

I complained to the mayor, and the person was no longer allowed to canvas for signature in front of government buildings after that.

" Bush is a Serial Killer." We live near a Marine base.
We keep it on the rear window of our car..I feel we are supporting our troops. Why should they kill for Halliburton's enemies.

But the truck has one that says:

"Just cause I drive a truck doesn't mean I like Bush"

The Jeep says:

"If you can read this you're not the president"

The Audi will (soon) say:

"Bush/Cheney '04
You're joking, right?"

And the TBD sticker says:

"Bush/Cheney - In your guts, you know they're nuts"

69. I LOVE your bumper stickers!
Very funny. I have another DUMP BUSH...2004, but I'm afraid to put it on my car. I live in a repub village..... I really do love my car and I KNOW someone would take a key down the side. I'm really taking a chance with the Kerry for President sticker. :(
