Hillary Clinton thinks sniper fire is funny. Maybe if Chelsea was in Iraq she wouldn't think so.

Of course, the Clintons are now part of the entitlement class, which has no need for military service.

1. Exactly!
That is exactly what I screamed at the TV when I saw a clip of her speaking those words.

I could not believe it!

6. Do a search of my posts and you will see what I had to say about Bush's WMD joke.
You don't know what the fuck you are talking about and I despise anyone who puts people in harm's way as a lark or for personal gain.

8. Let's see....Are snipers any different when they kill civilians all over
Kosovo???

Hillary stood on the dead bodies of every child shot through the head in Kosovo to show voters how brave she is.....

Too bad it was all a fucking LIE.

McCain is going to butcher her over this in the GE.....A decorated POW up against a woman who LIED about being under fire in a place where the ethnic cleansing killed THOUSANDS of civilians by sniper fire.

Y'all ought to be ashamed of yourself.

15. That's at least the 3rd of 4th time you've repeated that falsehood.
Edited on Fri Apr-04-08 10:00 AM by TahitiNut
All of DU was outraged at Junior's 'humor' ... and I don't recall a single person giving him a pass on it. Not one. Allowing your bias to clam license to smear this community with such an outrageous falsehood is truly despciable. At least one of the posts in which you make such an outrageous claim has been removed ... presumedly due to the inflammatory nature of such a smear on this community.

4. Thanks for reposting this link -
I've plastered it all over the place tonight.

THIS is why the sniper lies aren't funny

This is why the joke about the lies isn't funny

Sniper fire ain't a funny fucking thing at all.

Too bad the woman running to be the Commander in Chief thinks so.

Too bad there are some here that will minimize it to save their 'candidate'

If she gets nominated, McCain will hand her her ass on a platter over this.

5. Very Republican-like indeed
Willing to send others to fight and die in bogus wars, but unwilling to send yourself or your own children.

7. We all know McCain has a son in Iraq, right?
Which gives him standing to say 'that's not funny' any time he wants. would also be an obvious 527 ad angle in the GE.

9. The appropriate response from the audience
should have been a single, slow, derisive hand clap.

10. I'm sure Jim Webb thought it was hilarious
That shit was not funny at all. I'm not outraged that she said it because at this point I fully expect her to say just about anything. I think it was in bad taste for someone who voted for a war and didn't even have the time to read the NIE report in regards to said war.

11. Did you catch the last line of that article?
It is powerful and says a great deal

But even George W. Bush and Bill Clinton never lied about being under fire.
