County boards reviewing list for accuracy

From Robert Yoon
CNN Washington Bureau
Friday, May 28, 2004 Posted: 6:50 PM EDT (2250 GMT)

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- As Florida county election boards review a list of thousands of potentially ineligible voters -- including some who may be felons -- CNN is suing the state, claiming the public and media should also be able to review the list.

The move comes four years after the state's voter rolls were at the center of one of the closest elections in U.S. history.

The state Monday denied a CNN request for a copy of the list of up to 48,000 people. These people, according to the state, could be ineligible to vote because they are felons or have multiple registrations -- or have died since the last election.

The county election boards have been asked to review the list to make sure the people are correctly identified as individuals who should be denied the right to vote.

2. theft made EZ
The more exposure this gets, the harder it will make them work to steal elections. As it is, the store is wide open and not a clerk in sight.

4. What pisses me off, is that it's CNN doing the filing...
...where are the FLORIDA chapters of the ACLU, League of Women Voters or the State Democratic Party?

5. Exactly,
Are we going to experience another failure in democracy before this is taken seriously, My fear is yes.
On some boards the Neo’s have actually made statements of revolution had Gore won the election, So a little voter fraud bothers them little,CNN is not what I would call the defenders of democracy, It even surprises me that they would do this.

6. No, that makes it better.
Having the state Dem party file would force Jebbie to contend it -- it would be GOP suicide not to.

Also, the FL state Dem party is pretty incompetent -- I'd rather have somebody smart handling this so that the truth has a chance of being put out there.

9. Kudos to CNN.
It's about damn time! What? are they tired of cheerleading for the cabal? Now that it looks like he's going down in the 2004 election, they don't have to fear the WH? or has the GUILT finally caught up to them? What? Why now, I wonder? Are they trying to get on the good side of the Dems now that it looks like one will be in the WH? :tinfoilhat:
