Did Obama make a mistake when he refused Hillary Clinton's attempt to join forces? |
|
Yes, she offered the partnership when she was 100pts behind. Was Obama too arrogant for his own good, and the good of the Democratic party?
Also, what if the positions were reversed and Obama was behind; made the same request of Hillary?

for someone who is running on "change" to pick an obvious insider. it dilutes his message. weakens his campaign-- either way as a President or as a VP.
and from the other side she's painted him as inexperienced and unable to do anything than a give a good speech, hard to sell him now as her right hand man, huh?
So I vote no mistake, IMO.

2. She was offering him the VP spot. |
|
The way he responded was the only way he legitimately could respond IMO. Are you saying he should have accepted the second spot?

4. Did Obama make a mistake to not accept the VP slot while he is the frontrunner? |
|
Is that really your question? Why the heck would he even consider it?

10. No. If Hillary wins the nomination Obama needs to leave the stage and let Hillary do her thing. |
|
I'm an Obama supporter by the way.

Appearing on a ticket with Clinton destroys Obama's appeal and rationale for running.
Spending 8 more years in DC getting "experience" *vomit* destroys Obama's appeal and rationale for running.

15. Look to which combo would be best to defeat the GOP...Did he make a mistake...no,... but..... |
|
If he really wants nation above self...which is whats best for all of us....he would open talks with her and her with him...to iron out differences
The Nation is at Stake..esp in these PUB Times....
So we cannot flounder an opportunity by this continuing mud fight....and yes, both headstrong and both proud Individuals...including both Crews/Families...
Somehow, they can make a Pos out of a percieved Neg by looking for ways to demonstrate Peace Building....starts within our own Party.
We MUST JOIN to OVERCOME the Negs of the GOP...it is time to swallow pride in favor of whats best for the Nation and its People...
I can only wish....hope,,,,,pray even.......
