|
Edited on Fri Jun-04-04 03:11 PM by in_cog_ni_to
I just heard this reported on Inside Politics. Kerry will name his VP in a "matter of DAYS"...not weeks. Not months! A few days!

...when you have a good ideas, but the candidate is BAD. Sorry, but true.
I have no beef with Dean's 'ideas'...but his image is horrible and all the flip-flopping fodder he provided since he started opening his mouth wide for the cameras makes him a joke...not just in my mind, but check the independent voters. NO WAY he would beat W.

Dean may be a joke in your view, and though you may not be alone, you sure as hell do not know the future, nor does your judgement count beyond the limitations of your own perspective.

55. Only a Beltway idiot could have coined "NASCAR dads" |
|
The most influential group of people among NASCAR fans are the women, not the men. It is the women that purchase the products of sponsors of their favorite drivers, and many of those products have nothing to do with automobiles, e.g., White Rain shampoo for Dale Jarrett's Busch car, etc.
Only a Beltway idiot could have coined such a meaningless and ignorant phrase as "NASCAR dads" and believe in such a myth!

Guess what, at the Daytona 500 the repugs were there registering voters. The Dems were notably absent. BTW the line of NASCAR dads signing up to vote republican was long. Locally, Democrats have more sense than to even bother to try. All it would have been was an opportunity to get yelled at by neo-cons.
