What will you do if we go to war with Iran? |
|
given the defeatist attitudes I have been seeing lately, I am curious, what is your plan when McCain launches the war on Iran? This question goes out quintuple to those who plan to sit this one out if their candidate doesn't win.
SCOTUS is important, probably enough reason to vote in itself. With that we could loose any chance at human rights, reproductive rights, GLTB issues, privacy for the next god knows how many years. But the right to breathing strikes me as somewhat more fundamental, because without it we can't really pursue any of the others. And War with Iran strikes me, at least, as very likely to impair our collective breathing and living abilities.
So whats your plan?

Cause there will be a oil shortage, prices will go up on food, and a shortage of oil to deliver food to cities.

5. Don't think McCain will be the one invading Iran |
|
It will have long since been invaded. And I do not know what I will do. I have been thinking about it. Tonite while watching story after story of what a fucked up country we have become, I was wondering what it will take to spark the revolution.

Seriously, that and a repeal of Row will get me out with a Pot and a Spoon banging away and there won't be no 25 people with me there will be thousands. I'm not against pot banging. Just against pot banging for stupid reasons.

9. McCain invading Iran isn't what I'm afraid of. |
|
Chimpy's entire pResiDUNCEy has been a case of trying to out-do what his daddy did.
Poppy's parting gifts to Bill Clinton were NAFTA and Somalia.
Chimpy's already set up the economic meltdown. He's only got to rig the next war to dump in President Obama's lap. And once these bastards invade Iran, it will escalate into World War III. Not even Barack Obama will be able to prevent that, if they start it before he takes office. Or worse yet, use it as an excuse to keep him from taking office.... :scared:

Halliburton might not long survive the war. Didn't they move to Dubai recently? How are they going to fare when the bill payer becomes the enemy? GE might be a better choice. Or buying your way to somewhere less likely to be bombed. Life seems to have fairly good investment potential.

18. They seem to flourish during times of economic uncertainty |

Energy is the only real currency left for advanced nations. Any corporation that explores and develops energy sources will do well in the near future. Fear and uncertainty will only increase the desirability of such stocks IMO.
