Obama only needs 33% of remaining Superdelegates to reach 2, 024 needed.. |
|
If Hillary continues down her despicable path on this 'bitter' thing, I say they all go ahead and just end this thing NOW! http://blogs.forbes.com/trailwatch/2008/04/obamas-magic-nu.htmlAt present, 315 superdelegates are still up for grabs. Using our Delegate Calculator, it becomes clear that Obama would need to win just 33%, or 104, of the remaining 315 superdelegates to get over the top.

2. Cause Obama was caught in bed with a dead boy.........NOT! |
|
And of course the Governor of Penn can clearly state way ahead of the vote that many Penn voters won't be voting for a Black candidate, and that's not too bad a thing to say....according to the elitists.

5. I have had a chance to look at the schedule for state conventions. |
|
Edited on Sun Apr-13-08 08:05 AM by Zachstar
And I see how this all ties in.
Clinton is going to be picking up some addons this month. And while those addons build her Campaign and bring her closer. They do not have NEAR the effect the next month will have.
Starting May 3 the tide turns with 2 state conventions (Louisiana and South Carolina) And ends with Maine and Mississippi on the 31st! With Multiple likely Obama wins between those!
Those states mean addon supers! And that means Obama can pick up multiple addons in may and bring the margin ever closer!!
Add in multiple supers that wait until the end of primary season and the few Clinton supers saying they will switch if Clinton does not gain the lead and I think Obama will have enough to get the nomination!!
My guess is Clinton will exit far before that however!

8. Where are the Clinton Supporters?! |
|
Even when assuming 50/50 on multiple contests he is this close. Clinton as to be in the 60 percent range in all upcoming contests just to TIE with Obama!

10. The writing has been on the wall for a long time |

She's done. She's doing the Huckabee, just hanging on because it's not mathmatically certain even though it will take some super force of nature that does not exist to make her the nominee. I guess she figures since she and Bill have made fools of themselves they might as well finish the job and have to leave the race kicking and screaming like petulant children. I look forward it.

If this goes to the convention McCain has a large chance of winning.

12. Of course Obama also needs to hold onto the endorsement of his Super Delegates |
|
Any set of circumstances from here on out that would convince a majority of remaining uncommitted Super Delegates to break for Clinton could also cause some of Obama's current Super Delegates to abandon him for Clinton. They are not carved in stone, Clinton has lost Super Delegates from her camp to Obamas.
My point is that Clinton doesn't need to win over 2/3rds of the remaining unpledged Super Delegates because as it stands there will need to be compelling evidence that she is more electable than Obama for her to even win over 60% of those Super Delegates to her, considering recent trends. OK, one can argue that is unlikely, but if it happens there will be a reason for it, and I think anything that causes undecided Super Delegates to suddently start breaking for Clinton would also cause at least 5 to 10% of Obama's currrent Super Delegates to shift over to vote for Clinton instead.
