Obama, Clinton Manufacturing Forum
Over on The Economic Populist there is coverage of today's Alliance for American Manufacturing Presidential forum.

Contained within are the actual raw videos of the talks themselves, the transcripts and a few outlined quotes.

Most shocking was this forum was not covered live by CNN or seemingly on CSPAN and it's a critical policy area for the US and American jobs.

Manufacturing Forum, Obama, Clinton

BTW: McCain of course didn't even bother to show up. He obviously could give a damn about US manufacturing or American jobs.

1. Not even on C-Span3? Hopefully will be re-aired at some point
I'd be interested in hearing what they said.

3. I sure didn't see it
and considering they are playing over and over again this "faith" forum on CNN, one would have thought certainly something as important as US manufacturing would have been aired widely, but I really couldn't find anything on it except what I gathered on the blog post linked.

Even worse, Hillary had some youtubes which were marked "private" and if that isn't stupid as hell, I don't know what, she really had some very good things to say on US manufacturing (I felt).

4. The only thing I can think is that there was some hearing on CS3
1 is for House, 2 is for Senate and 3 is for hearings; they only cover other things
on 3 when there are no official government hearings to cover.

In any event, hopefully they'll re-air this on one of their channels.

6. CS3
It's amazing how CS3 isn't carried on Dish, Direct TV or most cable channels. My God, it's free yet they don't have it.

If you see an airing will you post that in the comments on The Economic Populist and on this DU thread?

I think many would want to you tube critical points (maybe not! Gee wiz, it's only our entire industrial base that is being eroded, greatly negatively affecting our entire economy here).

2. Thanks. I'll watch this one when I get home.
This is really important. I'm surprised there's not more interest.

Did you watch? What did you think?
