Possible VPs Kerry is meeting with this week |
|
I've seen some posts indicating that Kerry is meeting only with Gephardt and Vilsack, or he just met with Edwards, whatever. Here's what I have read (forgot to copy the link)about the top contenders and who the meets are with this week:
Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack, retired General Wesley Clark, Senators John Edwards of North Carolina and Bob Graham of Florida, and Representative Richard Gephardt of Missouri are the leading candidates, campaign advisers and party aides said last month.
Kerry will meet with at least Vilsack and Clark, the campaign official and party official said today. The meetings, scheduled for Kerry's private office in the Capitol, would be his first with potential running mates to discuss the vice presidency, they said.

1. This is what we want. Lots of speculation...get the story going |
|
It's good because it generates excitement and gets Kerry in the news!

3. They probably sit around and joke about |

how stupid Bush sounds when he talks. Even if I don't necessarily want all of these people as VP, even the least intelligent of this list (if there is one) is smarter than the Shrub!
