I watched the debate. There were a lot of tabloid type questions thrown at both of our candidates but I don't get the outrage or surprise. ABC is basically the fox news of the big three, Do we not remember the whole 9-11 movie fiasco?
Why is anyone surprised by the quality of their questions?
These guys are running for president and they should be able to withstand this sort of crap being thrown at them and still make their case. I thought both of them did pretty well last night in standing up to that onslaught and actually facing a lot of the garbage being thrown around on the MSM right now.
Sure it was tabloid journalism but tabloid journalism is a large part of our society right now. I don't believe they are better off if we talk about all the garbage all week long then have a debate and pretend it isn't there till the next day when we go right back to it. Sure there are other more important issues to discuss, but these are also issues that people make their decisions on who to vote on. Not people here I hope but plenty do.
I guess what I am saying is yes almost every crap attack on either of our candidates that is out there was thrown at them on live TV last night. I happen to think that overall though that both of them handled it well. Theres a long time to go to november this debate isn't going to propel Mccain to victory or anything.
Just remember that ABC is not a democrats friend is all. We should all already be well aware of that though.
