After an hour of watching that crap, I turned to American Idol |
|
where I got to see Mariah Carey and a former American Idol sing. And the singers were put into groups where they clung to each other, until finally, at the end of the show, the girl who sings country and sold her horse to come on the show was eliminated.
Don't tell me that wasn't more intellectually satisfying and stimulating than watching Highchair Georgie and Vanilla Charlie insult the audience and the candidates with incredibly stupid questions. That was the poorest excuse for a debate I've ever seen.
How I miss Peter Jennings. Doesn't ABC still have Ted Koeppel? You couldn't pay him to ask questions that stupid. Do they keep him locked in the basement?

2. I stopped watching Idol after roughly season 2. There was nothing worthwhile on except Family Guy. |
|
After the League of Women Voters stopped hosting debates in protest of both Repubs and Dems always attempting to attach preconditions on the questions to be asked, debates in America went downhill. Now, both parties have more control over the questions.
