3. Eh. We like DANCING WITH THE STARS in our household.
Stupid to boycott stations for any reason. There's always one show that isn't horrible.

Just don't watch the shit you don't like. It's easy. You just pick up the remote and push the buttons.

4. well i was reacting to the debate
and not wanting to help the network

and it's not a big loss (to me) anyway.

YMMV, and i respect that and your own decision.

7. All debates are stupid. How about the "Let's Love Jesus" one on CNN?
How about the Seven Dwarfs lunacies with every asshole in the race onstage, with no opportunity to discuss ANYTHING because the time is too short?

They're too formulaic, by and large. Too structured. Between the GOTCHA on the one hand, and the idiotic 'audience questions,' the whole effort is just, well, stupid. Lotta heat. Little light.

Of course, I don't think that these stupid "Meet The Candidate" rallies are terribly helpful, either. In this day and age, a candidate should not have to go all around the country repeating the same stupid stump speech over and over again. Let's give 'em a public network and all the airtime they can use, so long as it is live, and have a national primary. Match them up against each other in a rotating effort, let 'em fight it out that way.

To hell with this sitting on the hay bale and talking about pork bellies shit, let's get real and 21st Century. We have the boob tube, why don't we USE it?

Of course, that won't happen--the whole circus brings in money to those early states, and they are determined to hang on to that cash cow.

As for "hurting the network," if you're on the cable or the satellite, you're not hurting them. They get their cut even if you never turn them on.

6. search me and you will find out that i don't
one time a few days ago out of frustration, i put three people on ignore and i announced i finally had an ignore list, i never said who i put on it.

and ultimately, not even a day later, i have nobody on my ignore list.

that's the only time i've ever ignored anybody and it didn't last 24 hours.

and i wouldn't announce ignoring somebody and if i did so without actually ignoring them that could get me banned --it's against the rules.
