Hi all. Just wanted to give you a brief update of the happenings here in Philly, University of Pennsylvania to be specific.
On Tuesday I posted about attending the taping of 'The Colbert Report' with Michelle Obama.

John Legend put on for UPenn on Monday.
Here's a pic and the story:

"Ordinary People", but the song
"If You're Out There" is a brand new (unreleased) song Legend wrote after being inspired by youth turnout in the primaries.

This is going to help us fire campus up! Please listen to the lyrics, they're incredible!
(also, another disclaimer for the more "seasoned" DUers, the song is rap)
We Need Changehttp://youtube.com/watch?v=2-Km3K_5hTUThe video has great shots of Penn's campus, some of our group members (of which the artist is one) and the Obama office just off campus.
If you're looking for an explanation of why Obama is dominating at PA college campuses, look no further than this thread. Young voters are excited about Obama and the young entertainers we admire are too. The campaign has done an excellent job of connecting those energies via events like the Legend concert.
I'll be sure to post pics from today's rally with Barack Obama!
This weekend is canvassing, canvassing, CANVASSING!! I'll definitely take some pics so y'all can see what it's like on the ground here in Philly. We've got an army of volunteers signed up. It's going to be a BLAST!
FIRED UP!
READY TO GO!
PHILLY IS AN OBAMA CITY!
