ugh...Don't resort fo quoting Mayor Daley
I love the guy myself because he gets shit done in Chicago, but he's as dirty as they come and he's the last person we should be using to defend against Clinton.

1. Yah, 'cos it worked so well with Gore!
That went down like a lead balloon, IIRC.

Last time I was in Chicago, they were filling the downtown with luxury condos, and taking greenspace to do it.

3. In Chicago? No, I hadn't been there in years
And then I ended up going twice within ten months! The high point was going to Super Dawg.

4. Welcome to Chicago
Just what is it you find objectionable about Daley, who's been re-elected mayor for almost 20 years?

I think he's just as good a source as anyone in regard the the Ayers thing. Who would know better?

5. the mayor daley that won reelection with 70 percent of the vote?
The mayor Daley that Bill Clinton called a "great mayor" at the 1996 Democratic Convention?

The mayor Daley that appeared together with Bill last year

Why would I be afraid of quoting Mayor Daley?

6. eh..Don't get me wrong
He has done wonders for the city and is what I actually feel one of the very few mayor's that knows how to mayor and gets shit done(and is arguably one of the best big city mayors ever), but he is corrupt and even ran as that basically. IIRC, one of his campaigns was basically "I'm corrupt, but not as corrupt as the next guy so vote for me!".

7. I love the guy too
But I don't share your "dirty" view. I respect Daley's opinion.

P.S. Mayor Daley is a "green" Mayor, Parks, Bike trails, and living roofs!
