Obama Opens up 19 POINT lead according to Newsweek?!
I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet, but I just noticed this on Realclearpolitics.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/latestpolls/index.html

Democratic Presidential Nomination Newsweek Obama 54, Clinton 35 Obama +19

Here is a link directly to the poll..

Frankly I think this is a wacky outlier not to be taken TOO seriously.. but still, it is going to hit the news cycle pretty hard.

5. I agree... BUT....
Don't you think it will be talked about a lot on the news over the weekend? And can't the PERCEPTION that he opened up some type of incredible lead nationwide alter voting habits?

Food for thought.

8. This isn't about credibility, it is about effect.
What will the perception be as people here this weekend that a respected magazine poll shows Obama opening up a 19 point margin?

I believe it is a wacky outlier as well, but it will have an effect.

11. The MSM including 'print' is shilling for BO. So what else is NEW??
The silent majority will be NOT BE phased by these phony poll results and the ONLY people that will be 'effected' are ALL READY BO supporters.

13. The Media is biased against anyone with a (D)
behind their name...stop playing this bullshit. Both Candidates are getting pounded, yes Clinton more so, but she did sabotage her own credibility with that bosnian sniperfire lie.

Both Candidates will not be treated well by the media, we all know this.

15. LOL.
I love the use "NO CREDIBILITY" why does one poll have more "credibility" than another? They all ask people opinions and are subject to errors. The only one that has actual credibility is the one where real votes are counted.

I just love the fact that this poll will get repeated all weekend!

7. It's been discussed on several cable news programs tonight.
I think the real take away in the poll is just how much public doesn't trust Clinton now.

I agree with the others who remain suspicious of the big numbers.

18. Gallup says 3, Rassmusen says 6. Newsweek has a story saying Nukes are Green.
Obama says Nukes are Green, too, and he voted for the 2005 Energy Bill and one of his best donors is Exelon and GE owns MSNBC/NBC that roots for him and GE makes nukes. While you are over at Newsweek looking at the Obama by 20 poll, I think you are supposed to read about how nukes are green and about how kooky environmentalist are causing global warming by keeping GE from building nukes so you will understand why Obama voted for that 2005 energy bill and why he is going to build more nukes once he is elected.
