On March 12th, the day after the Mississippi primary, a clinton supporter said here on GD: P....

(paraphrasing)

"Ok... 6 weeks. One state. Let's make it all about PA."

I responded with:

"Fine. The latest PA polls show Clinton ahead 55-36. That's the baseline. If Hillary wins by 19 or more, then she had a more successful 6 weeks than Obama. If she wins by 18 or less, then Obama had a more successful 6 weeks."

The Clinton supporter said, "I can agree with that. Hillary needs to win by 20 or more to make PA matter."

I'm holding you Clinton supporters to that. I like my chances of being right.

6. I just figured out the goal post thing...
and the Clinton campaigns financial woes. The Clinton campaign spent a lot of money buying extra goalposts. They aren't moving them at all, they just have so many of them set up in so many places that it makes us dizzy. I'm certain I say a line in the last FEC filings for 'Goal Posts - 1 gross' - didn't I?

7. The rockets are running out of propellant.
Leading up to May 6 they will not be able to move em any further.

12. Good think it won't be single digits.
With only 2 major candidates on the ballot, if Obama gets less than 44%, (which is most likely scenario) then Clinton will have at least 10 pts.

14. If Obama can't win PA it does question his winning the GE.
Let's be honest, we're never going to win Mississippi, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, or any of the deep south states.

17. No... because in the GE he won't be running against a Democrat....

That's what you Clintonistas can't get through your head. Whether or not he can beat HILLARY in a state has no bearing whatsoever on whether or not he can beat McCain in the same state.

It's faulty logic.

Both Hillary and Obama would beat McCain in PA.... but when they run against each other, SOMEBODY is going to win.

Both Hillary and Obama would beat McCain in WI.... but Obama beat Hillary badly there.

It means NOTHING. It's like saying that because one SEC team lost to another SEC team, it calls into question their ability to beat an ACC team.

It's a nonsense argument made by people with low IQs.

25. And, you know we won't be winning the South, correct?
The deep south hasn't been won since 76 and it hasn't turned blue since. Carter who won, was from Georgia.

ETA:

ETA: the point is , if you lose a state in the GE doesn’t mean you will lose it in the primaries. If you win it in the primaries, doesn’t mean you will win it in the GE, regardless if it’s blue or red. Or purple, or pin even.

Both McCain and Hillary won Ohio. Does that mean both of them will win Ohio in the general?!!
Hillary won NY does that mean Obama will lose NY to McCain in the general?!!
