1. You are right. She had to win by over 20 points, she didn't do it |
|
The truth is at the end of the primaries, the one who is leading should be our nominee
If the losing nominee decides to fight it at the convention I predict we will lose the general election
However, if it is decided before the convention we have a fighting chance to unite and win

7. You mean like that 2,067 plurality in Wyoming? |
|
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 08:51 PM by hell-bent
Or, the 4,480 plurality for Obama in AK? Or,the 4677 in ND? Wow, those are impressive wins. Obama spent 11 million dollars to put Hillary away and couldn't do it? He couldn't do in Ohio, and Texas. What big states that went Blue in 2004 has he won besides Illinois and Washington? Do you really think he would win Utah or say Wyoming in the GE? When pigs fly!

8. If you did read it comprehension not your strong point, |
|
"When voters everywhere were watching the returns of, say, Kansas on Super Tuesday, most of them naturally assumed that Barack Obama won 27,172 votes to Hillary Clinton's 9,462. But those aren't voters they're counting, they're really just more delegates. County delegates. The county delegates represent an undefined amount of peoples' votes, depending on how many people arrive to the caucus and how many county delegates are assigned. This number could be anywhere from 5 to 100 people and beyond.
Since there is no exact number of how many votes are actually represented in a caucus, let's just round it out to 20 voters per delegate, out of morbid curiosity. That means each delegate, on average, represents about 20 people, and we will multiply the final tally by 20.
Therefore, in Kansas, Barack Obama gained 543,440 votes to Hillary Clinton's 189,240 votes. This is a far wider margin of victory than Clinton supporters would like to admit, but decidedly more accurate"

10. Yep. That's why we have "pledged delegates", closest thing to properly |
|
weighting the caucus votes.
Obama has, by far, won more states, more delegates, and more votes. PA doesn't even put a dent in that.
