6 weeks ago HRC was up 20 points so she lost her 10 point lead DESPITE Wright, Bitter, Flag Pins. . |
|
. . .and other parts of her kitchen sink strategy. Folks will make a big deal out Obama's $7 million which is valid but only when it is put in context against all the shit he had to deal with.
And another thing, people want to know why Obama can't close the deal, yet they don't question how Hillary can go from inevitable to not having a chance of winning the pledged delegates. If Obama can't close the deal what does that say about Hillary?
As bad as the HRC camp wants to make Obama look they have to admit that no matter what she is still losing to him.
LASTLY, I will end with a question. What was the percentage that Hillary needed to win by to catch Obama in delegates before tonight and what is that percentage now? If that percentage has grown there is no way you can't paint this as a victory.

5. Most races tighten up in the last few days before the actual vote. |
|
Yet 58% of the people who made up their minds in the last week broke for her according to CNN.

8. Obama already has closed the deal.... |
|
The Clinton spin doesn't change the math.
She can't win on spin.
She had a 28 point lead over obama in PA only a few weeks ago, and her win will be by 8-10 points in a state that was supposed to be a blow out for her.
At best she'll gain 15 delegates... not nearly enough.
Which means she's still behind on delegates... still behind on popular vote... still behind on states won... and add to that she's 10 million in debt and heading into states where Obama already has the advantage.
This is like raging bull... she lost the fight, she's done... she just hasn't hit the mat.

9. Less than $1 Million per percentage point... |

Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 10:44 PM by Triana
...not bad! ($7 Mil for 10 points).
No matter how it's calculated, no way Hill can win - I don't believe superdelegates are going to cross the popular vote/pledged delegates to any extent great enough to give her the delegates she needs. They're smokin some interesting stuff in the Clinton campaign. And they're obviously inhaling. Deeply.

16. "try to buy an election?" |
|
What do you think that he should have done with the money? Do you not think that, if Hillary had the money, she wouldn't be spending the hell out of it? Ads are meant to expose people to your campaign. The "he tried to buy an election!" thing is so stupid, no offense.

17. The reason the gap closed, is because Obama outspent her. It's as simple as that |
|
Obama supporters act as though it has to do with some inherent character trait that Obama possesses. We all know that had Clinton spent the same amount of cash, the gap would not have closed.

...last night she really lost.
