Hillary kicked Obama's ass tonight, again! And ahe has raised over $2.5 million since the polls closed in PA, 80% from new donors!

So you can be bitter all you want but we're happy.

29. Fineman is a right wing dick...
http://www.democraticunderground.com/top10/01/top10_2001_39.html

The Top Ten Conservative Idiots (Week 39)

"Howard Fineman
In the wake of the September 11 attacks, we suppose it was inevitable that the media would "rally 'round the president" to a certain degree. (Why, he's got the best qualities of Reagan, FDR, and Lincoln — with the rugged good looks of JFK to boot!) But in case you haven't yet been convinced that Bush/43 strides the globe like a proverbial giant, Howard Fineman has got conclusive proof — proof! — that you are not only an idiot, but also a shameless partisan who just needs to get over that whole 2000 election thing. The Newsweek/MSNBC "journalist" (and Whore of the Week at Media Whores Online) has given all of us one more reason to bow down before the altar that is Dubya: All of Al Gore's Top Advisors are "relieved" that our current president is George W. Bush, and not that other guy with the beard who lied all the time about inventing the Internet. Says not-so-Fineman: "with almost audible sighs of relief, some top people who worked for Al Gore privately tell me they are glad (relieved might be a better word) that George Bush — not Bill Clinton’s veep — is in the White House now." Never mind that he only quotes four people — all anonymous. (Editor's note: Remember how Gore ran that presidential campaign last year with only four people?) Fineman's real kicker is the reason that they are glad that Gore is not in charge: "The Republican Right would have been all over us." Did you catch that, folks? Gore would have done a bad job, because Republicans can't put aside their hate, even in a time of national crisis."

You just wish it did because Elizabeth Edwards is very popular.

Obama went to visit John and Eluzabeth to seek their support months ago and allegedly got into a bit of an argument with Elizabeth. Told her she was wrong about something she said.

Not much of a diplomat, yet another way he is like *.

I don't think that's the case at all. Remember that she already said on one of the network morning shows that HRC's health care plan was the better one when compared to Obama's.

She can campaign for HRC without John getting involved in any campaign if that's his choice.

71. That's nice - hope she isn't promoting Hillary's health insurance plan.
It's kind of embarrassing that we have 2 Democrats with insurance schemes rather than someone promoting true single payer, universal healthcare. Neither candidate appreciates how poor people are becoming in this country. They should see the people at my local grocery store returning 5 cent cans to buy food. Healthcare should be available to all and paid out of a common pot. Offering a $700 a month policy to a poor person is nothing more than lip service to a serious problem. If Hillary supported the Kucinich plan, I would actually jump ship and support her, lies and all, but it will never happen.

74. If so, then everything she seemed to stand for during John's campaign was a lie -
I find it unimaginable that the Edwards could support someone who uses the tactics of Hillary. If Elizabeth is simply supporting the vagina ( a la Marianne Williamson) in the campaign, then she does not have the integrity I thought she had. (no I'm not sexist - I'm a woman and not a self loathing one at that - I'm one of that dying breed of woman who actually stands on principles above gender.)

85. Your words and your attitude do more harm to Obama than anything H.C. has done. Elizabeth Edwards
Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 08:45 PM by farmboy
has so much wisdom and so much goodness and so much care for her fellow human beings that to demean her with your shallowness makes her choice of Hillary, if she so decides, all the more appealing and makes all the more sense.

This is coming from someone in N.C. that has yet to make a decision between the two and who will always think that John Edwards was the best and most progressive choice for the country.

Once you think you have absolute knowledge, right on your side only, certainty about who between Obama and Hillary is the only correct choice, to the point of "I won't vote for the other in the fall campaign", you have lost site of the big picture, and have let down yourself and all Americans, as far as I am concerned.

Be afraid for the country you will be helping to guide and the direction you will be guiding it into with a Republican president and Supreme Court for a long, long, long time....longer than the lives of many people who write here at DU everyday.

75. Well John sure can't, after what he said about her.
Elizabeth would even surprise me, as she had the sense to be against the war from the start. Guess healthcare trumps the war in her opinion.
