Maybe we can get somebody who won't back Republican wars this time.

I prefer Obama for President, but I think Senator Clinton is an ok Democrat. She's done some good things for NY.

Someday (hopefully soon) we all have to get through this and concentrate on McCain.

that got the GLBT community so twisted up.

But one is either 100 percent gay-friendly or they must be CRUSHED!

BTW, Bill was the one who signed the HATE AMENDMENT making gay marriage illegal, not Obama.

45. wow, bill Clinton signed an amendment?
to what? And here I thought the President only signed bills and treaties. I don't remember any amendments while Clinton was in office, you should like go and update the wikipedia page, cause they don't have one either.

oh, you mean the Defense of Marriage Act? The one he signed to defang a very popular movement to actually amend the constitution? One that would have succeeded, and removed any real possibility of any state having equal rights for a generation at least?

DOMA is a bad law, but it protected us from an even worse amendment. Laws can be changed, amendments are basically forever.

She has to be pissed beyond belief to think that she'll have to go back to being 1 of 100 in the senate..She has slogged along patiently at the job because it was her ticket to ride the White House Express..but the train left the station without her, so I doublt she has much interest in that job anymore..

The 28 percent who won't vote for Obama include the RepubliCONs who crossed over to vote for Hillary and racists.

Nice company you keep there.

Not only that, I didn't say support the RepubliCON next election cycle--I said run a real progressive Dem against Hillary "Nuke 'Em Now" Clinton.

51. Oy - I'm sorry to hear that
I was being snarky (New Yorkers are born that way) and I shouldn't have been. I can't even imagine being represented by conservative whackos. I was represented by a republican congressman but he was very pro choice and very enviormentally conscious so it wasn't too bad - retired and replaced by a very liberal woman.

Is there any chance at all the Kansas would go blue in November?

I know, the irrational hatred demands its pound of flesh.

If the party is really interested in getting rid of its far right enablers- there about 6 or 7 senators who routinely vote with Republicans- or have undermined Democratic efforts to block egregious legislation or incompetent and extreme nominees.

And I have news- Hillary's not among them....
