Tin Foil Hat Time...
Edited on Fri Apr-25-08 08:29 AM by EnviroBat
Has it ever occurred to anyone else here that perhaps the Republicans have planned to cripple our economy all along to prevent the kind of campaign funding we're now seeing for Obama? They wanted to make it harder than hell for "common folk" to dig deep and come up with the kinds of contributions we're seeing for Barack. Contributions which make me proud to live in this country again. For the last eight years I've been less than proud of this place. Barack's campaign funding shows me everyday, that we CAN fight the powers that be, the corporato-fascist media, the "big money". We can and will continue to beat them down like the rabid dogs they are. To stand up and elect a president that will represent US again.

One methodology, and this should be blatantly obvious by now, is through increased gas prices with no relief in sight. Have you noticed that gas prices have sky-rocketed during this primary process? Coincidence? I think not. Make it difficult to afford gasoline, and you'll make it harder to donate to Obama's campaign. Remember, Hillary's covered with lobbyist money, and cushy corporate donations, just like they want it. Well to those little Rovian planners, somewhere deep in the shit-infested bowels of Washington, I say, "Fuck YOU"! I'll continue to donate money to Obama's campaign, and donate for my brother and sisters who are unable to.

The crashing housing market: Make it difficult to afford a place to live and people won't be donating to an "un-popular" candidate. Un-popular with PNAC that is. Again, "Fuck YOU"! Next week is payday, and more money is going from my meager bank account to Obama's camp.

Which brings me to jobs. If they can continue to encourage and allow people to be the victims of outsourcing, then, well, I think you all get it.

Donate, whatever you can to Barack Obama.

Ebat Out

1. Nothing tin-foil about that idea.
They want everything owned by that richest one-tenth of one percent, and every one of their policies supports that goal. The MSM which sings us to sleep every night is there to keep us from noticing for as long as possible, or until it's too late for us to change anything democratically.

2. "Small donors being unable to donate much money to Obama" is perhaps
#214,643 on the list of Effects of an Economic Downturn. If they're considering that over at the Federal Reserve, then we might as well just sit back and relax, because they've found the cheat codes to reality and have unlocked God Mode.

3. Nope. The economy is tanking because their policies suck*.
The class war is being won.

*Those policies are very effective for 10-12% of the population.

4. Doubt it. They just wanted a war so they could have a roariing economy
in some sectors without the threat of inflation that comes with full employment. Cause that would be good (and was) for the stock market.
