She's uninspiring.

8. I'd be happy with her, but I think he'll pick someone with a military background
But Sebelius might deliver Kansas, especially if there is a right wing third-party candidate.

9. I'd like to offer you a YouTube of Janet Napolitano as well
I agree with #4 that Sibelius (who I admire) is a little dry. And I think Janet really kicks ass on the sump. I just think she'd give him that extra lift in connecting with voters. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM-yjHIhMAw

But - they are both great. And I've noticed that they are even grudgingly admired by Republicans I talk to.

14. Very impressive!
Napolitano has a great track record as well, named one of the best 5 governors in the country by Time magazine.

Either one would be a superb choice!

10. She's a female Kerry. Stiff as a board. BO needs an attack dog. Cause he's not allowed to fight back

13. I disagree. Remember that Obama is about a new type of politcs...
which eschews the old gutter politics of the past. If he goes back on that now and gets an attack dog, his credibility suffers and he loses.

I would like to see him choose Senator Boxer except that we would lose a senate seat since California has a GOP governor.

12. Obama and McCain both need attack dog VPs
A big part of both candidacies is that they reasonable are moderates above petty partisan bickering.

Both will need a guy to shore up their flank and engage in petty partisan bickering.

I don't think Governor Sebelius would fill that role for Obama.

15. it's either
going to be military, or somebody from a new battleground state like Colorado, Montana or Virginia.

Not that Montana is a battleground state, but in the next 20 years maybe.

That's why it seems Jim Webb is logical, because he's both.
