4. CA, PA, OH, MA, NY
We're supposed to elect her because she won those 5 "big states". It's crazy. I bet if you really got into all the numbers from day one, you'd find she won the vote of old women on social security and way too much has been extrapolated from that.

15. Looking at the cross tabs
Hillary does very well among white women, and the older you get the more likely you are to support her.

I wouldn't quite say it's old women on social security, but I would say it's a stereotype with some truth to it.

21. That's also her under $50,000 vote
So many more older women are turning out to vote, that I think they're skewing some of these numbers. I keep forgetting that seniors are on "fixed" incomes, sometimes because social security is all they have, most times because they don't want to pay a lot of taxes. The way vast majority fix their incomes to below $50,000 a year. People can think she's getting the lower income single mom vote, when she's really getting a wealthy retired woman with her home paid for who doesn't need more than a couple thousand a month to do quite well.

18. 5 Big States = Lots of Electoral Votes
Those 5 States give a candidate MORE THAN 1/2 of what's needed to be elected.

30. WA, IA, MN, WI, VT, IL, CT, DE, MD, ME
I guess Hillary couldn't take all of them if she were the nominee? I wish people would think ahead a month and realize what their words now will make them look like then.

5. The "Obama doesn't get the white vote" meme is a myth
perpetrated by either the Clinton camp to strengthen her case with the SD's or the Republicans to explain his "loss" after they steal the election.

22. Hillary's campaign has been trying to make Obama the BLACK candidate since Iowa.
Her win in PA has given her another opportunity, which will FAIL. EPIC FAIL Hillary.

25. Seems like a bunch of cherrypicked data.
Combined with an inflated total from rethugs, who will vote for McCain in the general.

26. Maybe if he just polled the large states that went for Hillary....
The numbers are laid out well - even what age group is being refered to - better and more even handed then most of the media or candidates.

27. She cherry-picked data that suited her theory.
She didn't present the full breadth of the data, just age and gender groups that suited her hypothesis.

28. You're right, I did cherry pick data to back up my thesis
Basically, the older white women went for Hillary, and the younger white men went for Obama.

You're welcome to go start a thread with your own cherry-picked data, if you like.

But this idea that Obama's only winning black people and Hillary's winning all the white people? Pure crap.
