A sure winner in any election, but never on the ballot. |

Every election cycle, we end up voting for the lowest common denominator... the lesser of two evils..
People say they will "hold their noses and vote for abc or xzy...."
We get inspired occasionally, but usually the object of our inspiration gets knocked off the pedestal pretty early in the game, and then we start transferring our loyalties over and over, until the one we least liked, could be the one who might receive our precious vote..whether they deserved it or not..
Sometimes we get so turned off, that we sit out elections, and then pay for it, noseless...for years.
So much attention is paid to the mechanics of the actual election, that the candidates can get lost in the shuffle. Do the "fringe" candidates even belong mixed in with the two main contenders? Are their names sprinkled in to confuse voters? The design of some ballots are definitely an impediment...who can forget the butterfly ballot that loved Pat Buchanan so much?
Voter lists get "purged"..... broken voting machines get delivered to highly populated poor areas, while brand new ones sit unused in sparsely populated, rich areas...party bosses brag about "holding down the vote" ...paper ballots and provisional ballots often are not available...or remain uncounted, months after elections..
There is actually a candidate who could win , and could be listed as candidate for republcians AND democrats. This person is truly the universal candidate..... the ultimate uniter.
The name might be tricky to pronounce..
It has an ethnic sound to it, so some might have difficulty saying it aloud.
(pronunciation guide) Know-nay-off.... Th-ee-aah....Bow-veigh
Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present the next president of the united States of America....

2. There will never be a candidate who pleases all the Democrats. This has always been our problem.... |

This is the first time I've seen the rethugs openly admit to holding their nose while voting for McLame.

3. Philosophize the influence of Media owned by War Profiteers in the Primary Process |

and we're deluded or under informed.
How on earth, can ANY literate Democrat, deny the marginalization of all the candidates we have, in descending order, in a direct ratio to how much threat they would be to the Corporate Status quo?
They knock them down in countless ways... They must love their power. The MSM thinks they are SO powerful... and they ARE powerful...AND ARROGANT.
Wouldn't it be nice to KNOCK them down a peg... just a little? just one DAMN TIME?

6. If that candidate were on my primary ballot May 20th, |
|
he and/or she would definitely get my vote.
I'm planning to write in Gore. Originally, I was going to write in DK. Then I thought I'd throw a vote to HRC, not, HORRORS, because I wanted her to WIN, but to help keep her close enough to force a brokered convention that could leave both Clinton and Obama off the ticket.
Finally, I settled for a write-in for the Democrat most likely to replace the current two, should it come to that at the convention.
