Kerry/Edwards has been the main, headline story on cnn.com for going on 24 hours now. Now if only their actual news reporting were as deferential.

They went overboard for Dean too...until they decided to get rid of him.

2. CNN has lied any lie about Kerry and Edwards

F them.

President Kerry and a Democratic Congress WILL get even with the Bush asslickers at CNN when they restore the Fairness Doctrine.

3. I agree....the coverage has been horrid....
...but that's why I'm surprised they have kept the generally neutral, leaning towards positive headline up for so long. It's out of character for them.

4. ABC brought a story about the W ketchup right after the photo op
Saying that it gives people who don't want to support the Kerry campaign when buying ketchup an option to support Bush. They also mentioned that the W on the bottle stands for Washington...Yeah Right :puke:

They are so incredibly fucking stupid. Heinz Ketchup has NOTHING to do with Kerry's campaign. And Theresa's holdings are about 3%.

It doesn't f*cking matter what ketchup you buy. People are so incredibly stupid to fall for that BS.

5. They are not playing to people with more than 3 firing synapses...
the whole bush cabal is geared toward idiots. There is NOTHING this administration can call on as an accomplishment, the entire 3 years they have been in DC, they have had nothing but failure after failure. Bush has the "Black Thumb of Death". Everything he touches, turns into a complete disaster.

Since they can't run on a record of accomplishment, they came out negative right from the gate. The W ketchup is just one more attempt to smear Kerry and most people are laughing at it as we speak...:)

The next thing that will get major air time is Edwards' lack of experience. But look what the Tx idiot had in experience, 2 terms as Gov, that's it. He failed at every business he had, drove them into the ground; failed as Gov of TX, drove that state into finacial ruin; and brought that "experience" to the presidency.....we have been in deep trouble ever since....:(

6. And I have to give them this, too
Yesterday morning Judy Woodruff talked to Paul Begala about the choice of Edwards. He gave a fabulous, positive analysis of the Kerry/Edwards ticket, and Judy hardly said anything. She let him talk on and on, and he was great.

I'm sure she got her licks in later in the day, but I thought that first impression airing early on in the coverage of the announcement was very important.

7. I saw parts of Larry King, who had on Gov. Richardson, a historian,

and others, to discuss Edwards. It was decent--not great, but certainly a lot better than having on wingnuts and giving Dems little chance to respond.

Rep. Ford of TN was on Olbermann (MSNBC) and he was great too. KO is one of the fairest on TV.

11. The historian was very good
Larry King did give it back to the RNC person - the RNC guy kept wanting to make hey of "trial lawyers" and tried to associate Edwards with the OJ case (well I think people's dislike of trial lawyers goes back to the OJ case....). Larry cut him off, and said, wait, the lawyers in that case were not trial lawyers, they were criminal lawyers.

Larry didn't really let him get his point out.

9. Corporate Nuanced News
Of course they're running the story. There's nothing else to supplant it. Along with MSGOP and Faux, these worthless asses are making it a contest to suck up to the right. All generalizing aside, the imbalance they exhibit is embarrassing. And the fact they're less imbalanced than the other is small comfort.

10. I give them credit for nothing
This story is BIG NEWS. Period. That's why it's temporarily front and center. But they jump back to tabloid, i.e. Scott Peterson, and fill their time with wingnut mouthpieces and opinions as soon as they can. :puke:

I stopped watching so long ago that when I do tune in, the mute button is fully activated until the candidates themselves speak. And as for the web, I hit DU and all our sites. I rarely go to CNN.com unless given a heads up by DUers about a poll or a rare, good article.

FUCK CNN in all its forms.
