Dubya's snide retort to the media today: "Dick Cheney can be president."
Edited on Wed Jul-07-04 12:28 PM by flpoljunkie
In response to a reporter's listing John Edward's capabilities and how they compare with Cheney's.

Hell, Dick Cheney is co-president/prime minister, at the very least, and it is Dick Cheney whose fingerprints are all over the engineered war in Iraq, along with Rummy's crew at the Pentagon.

And lest we not forget as the pundits evidently have, Cheney's extensive foreign policy experience has brought us,not Osama bin Laden's head on a stick, but a giant "MESS-0-POTAMIA", as John Stewart has so aptly put it.

It is truly the "emperor with no clothes" at work for the GOP and the SCLM to keep repeating how extensive and valuable Cheney's foreign policy experience is.

As John Kerry so eloquently puts it, to his biggest applause on the campaign trail, "The United States should never go to war because we want to. We should only go to war because we have to."

Yes, indeed! This ought be the first duty of a Commander-in-Chief, and it will be when John Kerry becomes our next President of the United States!

2. *GAG*
With a 22% (is that right?) approval rating, I don't think so!

I know he means he could step into the job should he need to but Cheney could never be President because people wouldn't vote for that old fool.

3. So could Dan Quayle, and if those 2 clowns could be a heartbeat
from the presidency, so can John Edwards.
