I absolutely love our ticket!

Sure, the early polls showing Kerry-Edwards leading by 2-11 points w/o Nader and 2-8 points with Nader are nice, but the impact for me goes way beyond that.

Kerry's pick of Edwards has injected an unbelieveable amount of excitement into the campaign, energizing Dems and proving that Kerry was politically astute enough to make the best possible choice. And this level of enthusiasm will just get stronger as they campaign together, into the convention and beyond. This ticket has as big of an upside as any duo I've seen.

Also, I get the strong feeling these two guys know what they're dealing with in the Rove machine (I never quite got that impression with Gore) and will fight fire with fire. That's exactly what we need.

Edit: I also think we've just passed an important point. Before Edwards came on board, a lot of Kerry's support was based on opposition to Bush. Now we'll see that translated into pro-Kerry/Edwards support.

there is a lot of warmth between them. drudge is trying to make something out of them being affectionate with each other but i think he is just jealous because he can't get in on it or because there are no bush/cheney pictures that bring out the positive warmth and hope that the kerry/edwards images do.

Kerry truly looks happy. It was such a pleasure to see him smiling and joking with Edwards. They just radiated sunshine and hope and optimism for the future.

They are the future...and thank goodness that we have them.

I think a lot of Americans must feel the same way (obvioulsy only fraction of what I'm feeling, but still feeling it).

It's very exciting.
