Kerry Not Over The 2000 Florida Dispute
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry and running mate John Edwards sought to rally voters in Florida on Thursday by recalling the recount dispute in 2000 that tipped the election to George W. Bush.

"I got news for you. In 2004, not only does every vote in Florida count, but every vote is going to be counted," Kerry said during a sweltering rally inside an airport hanger. "They fix those machines, we'll fix America."

Kerry told thousands of supporters gathered at the airport hanger in Broward County — site of one of the biggest recount disputes in 2000 — that he's discovered that Edwards' youngest children, ages 6 and 4, are "good at math."

"Those kids really know how to count. I've given them a special duty in this election. We're sending Jack and Emma Claire down there to help those Republicans in West Palm Beach count those votes," Kerry said.

I'm not sure if I had counted on the "insanely cute" factor...

4. REAL Family values
means valuing your family. You have to admit, you trust a man who values his family because he isn't going to make stupid decisions that will jeopardize his family. And if he does make a decision that puts his family in jeopardy, you know he is doing it for a damn good reason.

At least that is how I think.

When Edwards says he wants to make the world safer, you know it is for his (our) children. When Bush/Cheney says it, you have a hard time figuring out if their definition of safe matches your definition of safe.

7. I'm Saving Every Picture I Can Find of Kerry/Edwards Campaigning
because even if November doesn't go our way, I want to remember these past few days, when I grinned like an idiot and felt optimistic for America's future.

And when we do win, I'm gonna have a heck of a collection to show my children about the time, a great bunch of people got together and literally "saved the world"
