Check Out the Kerry Rock Concert!!!

At least it felt like a rock concert. These were taken in the rain on July 4th in Cedar Rapids, IA. With all the smoke from the fireworks, it felt a little like Apocalypse Now. Or maybe it was just "Apocalypse Bush."

2. Not bad for a GOP town like CR!

I think there were around 5,000 people there. Though many, I'm sure, drove in from über-liberal Iowa City, half an hour away!

3. As a music industry veteran...

(with the hash-marks and scars to prove it...), I sure do hope that every last one of Our Professional Problem Children use every remaining shard of Good Sense and Cognitive Abilities they have left(which ain't a lot, I am afraid...) and get a mitt, get in the game and donate their talents to concerts EVERYWHERE.

Sadly, I just ain't holdin' my breath.

4. Say TS, if you have contacts in the industry, don't hold your

breath, use that breath and connections on some phone calls for the cause. Put on that mit and lets get in the game dude. Just a thought, but of coarse I am not in your shoes and do not know your personal circumstances. It would be nice to get some involved, and I know, to few individuals own the industry and could ruin someones careers. Think Dixie Chicked would be a proper term for that.

5. Actually the Dixie Chicks' career soared after they

spoke out against bush. They may have been dropped from clear channel but their album sales did stay very high!!
