Has any one seen data on voter registration?

I'm hearing that many people are registering to vote mainly to vote against Bush. Has anyone seen any hard numbers on this? If the numbers are substantial, it could skew polling numbers.

1. It has been happening in Florida

Between the 2000 elections and November of 2003 the gap between registered Democrats and Republicans dropped from over 140,000 to 66,000, but since November of 2003, the percentage of REgistered Democrats to Registered Republicans in Florida give Democrats anywhere from a six to ten percent lead in this state now. Independents only make up about 4 percent of the total.
