she has said she checks out du. hasn't said she posts but she does check it out. but i will say she is a tough one and probably expects this type of shit from freepers. she is also very comfortable with herself, she often talks about how she is seen as the candidates mother sometimes rather than wife. she jokes about these things herself.

I thought about it a lot before posting it. I decided it was relevant because:

1) I'm her age and I am not thin, either.

2) It's important to pre-empt this kind of crap and expose it for what it is...crap.

3) She is attractive, accomplished, and I like her.

4) It's better to get the personal attacks out in the open...as I said, that's all they have.

If you don't like it, don't read it. Better yet, put me on 'ignore'.

what she has. She has actually had FOUR children (her only son died in a car accident) and two of them when she was into her 40's - one maybe at 45 or so. (I had one baby at age 37 and believe me, my body has never gotten over it!)

And she's a lawyer herself - as you say "attractive, accomplished, and I like her." She brings as much to her role as political spouse as does Mrs. Kerry.

Also as you say, the only weapon these freepers have to use is personal attacks - it's become like a reflex reaction with them. Look at the Clintons - they immediately hated them, as bright, capable, and attractive as they were.

The petty carping of these pathetic freepers says a lot more about them than the people they are trying to ridicule.

I've been accused of being a shallow person in the Lounges famous/hot chicks threads for liking thin women. But nobody should be looking for a sex symbol in their first or second lady candidate. They should be looking for a great woman. A role model to represent the American people, particularly American women, to the world, and represent the government to the American people. A role model, not a fashion model.

And Elizabeth Edwards is unmatched in her ability to do that. She's a fabulous person, and has more goodness in her pinky than all those freepers combined.
