GoBama!

Deal with it, game set match!!

The guy is brilliant and Honest, even some Clinton folks were impressed, actually stunned, they've not seen Candor and Honesty, real emotions, an Authentic Human Being in 8 Terms of presidents..

Now if they harp at him it will only Elevate HIM and make them look Petty!

FOUR ACES, and a backslap from God Himself for that one, Obama!

Which one?

21. It was a necessity. His opponent, Sen. McCain would foolish to push this matter
any further, as he has Hagee and Parsley to deal with if he does. It seems most Americans are tired of dirty, Rove-style politics, but tin-ear Hillary and some of the other Republicans have yet to get the memo.

No, she won't back off of it. But neither can the American public stomach this kind of trash any longer. People are starting to recognize her for the nasty, slanderous, self-absorbed, ego-maniacal, hideous monster that she is. She's about to get what's coming to her.

62. Apparently, it will be Wright, Wright, Wright until the GE, or after.
They're on MSNBC right now discussing why they are still discussing Wright. He is apparently much more important than the Iraq War, the economy, health care, gas prices - all of these must now be completely ignored as we watch pundits obsess over a narcissistic fool, day after day after day after day.

I don't even watch KO any more because there is just too much Wright, Wright, Wright. I watched some DVDs of old TV shows last night instead of WNN (the Wright News Networks). I really don't want to hear about him any more and I am determined not to!

Is there anything anyone can say that will make them shut up about Wright and move on?

We'll see if this stops the bleeding. It should if the American public is paying attention.

Now the general election is a whole other kettle of fish. You would think this would be a non-issue by then unless some swift-boat type group runs ads and the public is willing to be swayed again by side issues.

Who are we talking about? If anything, Obama will be called seriously to task on his judgment here if he didn't know this guy was so whacked out as he was - after 20 years!

Press: Sen Obama, did you not know Rev Wright was this crazy?

Obama: Why no, I didn't.

Press: But you said he was like family! Like an uncle!

Obama: Well, yes.

Press: But you just said Wright's comments were “appalling” and “ridiculous”!

Obama: Well, yes.

Press: And you've been taking your children to hear Wright's "appalling and ridiculous" sermons for how long?

Obama: For years!

Press: And you have stayed part of his church, listening yourelf to those sermon sfor 20 years?

Obama: Well, yes.

Press: No more questions. You are officially in deep enough doo-doo already.

48. the better analogy may be Gennifer Flowers
While Clinton denied he had an affair with Flowers in his famous 1992 interview on 60 Minutes, he also all but admitted that he had been unfaithful to HRC. But by dealing with it and having HRC stand by him, he essentially shut it down as an issue for the 1992 campaign.

Whether that is what happens in this instance is still up in the air. I certainly wouldn't be surprised for it to continue to be an issue in the GE because you'll have 527 groups running ads using it. But will it be a major issue for the rest of the primary season? That remains to be seen. FWIW, I don't think HRC has been putting Wright on the table that much -- its more that she gets asked about it.

45. Clintons can do brilliant and honest, candor, real emotions, authentic.
Remember this classic?

"This afternoon in this room, from this chair, I testified before the Office of Independent Counsel and the grand jury. I answered their questions truthfully, including questions about my private life, questions no American citizen would ever want to answer.
Still, I must take complete responsibility for all my actions, both public and private. And that is why I am speaking to you tonight.

As you know, in a deposition in January, I was asked questions about my relationship with (you know who). While my answers were legally accurate, I did not volunteer information. Indeed, I did have a relationship with Ms. (you know who) that was not appropriate. In fact, it was wrong. It constituted a critical lapse in judgment and a personal failure on my part for which I am solely and completely responsible.

But I told the grand jury today and I say to you now that at no time did I ask anyone to lie, to hide or destroy evidence or to take any other unlawful action. I know that my public comments and my silence about this matter gave a false impression. I misled people, including even my wife. I deeply regret that."

====

More brilliant candor follows.

49. Now, see? The American public is always ready to forgive
and Bill was able to keep a 75% approval rating throughout the Impeachment process despite the Right Wing and Corpo media... This is what people seem to forget, that they KNEW it was a petty, bullshit bust by the RW & Media, and so they didn't fall for it...

Just like now, most "normal" folks are sick of the constant Harping by both Clinton and the MSM, like a bunch of magpies tearing apart a roadkill and chattering away...

Its just getting OLD, a nasty MSM chewtoy lathered with spit foam, we just don't CARE, what with gas at $4 a gallon troops dying, endless war, foreclosures, etc, frankly who gives a shit about some guy yattering in some church somewhere?

I like to think of how Homer Simpson acts in church, sure, he's THERE, but he's either sleeping or has the game on in his earjack..

Who REALLY listens in Church? The place where everyone's talking to the ceiling, and many times God's nowhere to be found :)

47. This is not going away anytime soon
Obama has said that his lack of experience can be disregarded by his superior judgment. The rethugs will continue to go after Obama by asking how good is his judgment by sitting in Rev. Wrights church for twenty years.

Rev. Wright isn't helping matters by insinuating that Obama basically agrees with him, but had to say what he did to get elected.

59. Republicans have resurrected the 60's. You're dreaming if you think Wright is "off the table".

When we have a clear shot at McBush.

Anyone who thinks the repubs have a stronger hand is...well...a REPUBLICAN.

65. Symbolman, I'm afraid you're optimistic.
It's not what Obama, or Clinton, or Wright or Limbaugh or anybody does that will matter. It's the electorate. The people too stupid to take their eyes off Miley Cyrus or Star Wars Night on Deal or No Deal to see that their country is dying.

I don't know if Obama will live long enough for the right wing to pull off his assassination. I think he may die of despair for this country before they get the chance to kill him.

78. Sorry to disagree with you but this is still on the table because
obama did not answer the 3 questions, thus kept this issue alive. Those three are: Why did he stay a member of the congregation? Why didn't he speak up earlier? And why did he reward Rev. Wright with a campaign position even after knowing of his comments?

You all remember that obama said for the first time a few weeks ago that HAD Rev. Wright NOT recently resigned as pastor of the church, he would have withdrawn. But that only reraised the same questions: Why didn't he act before the resignation? obama had 16 years to speak out about the bigotry and racist remarks his pastor said, but obama sat in the pew and said nothing. After knowing about some of these sermons and having serious problems with some of their messages, why did Obama still decide to appoint Rev. Wright to his official presidential campaign religious advisory committee?(which obama had to resign him)

Which brings up the question, WHY NOW? We all know why now, but maybe you obama folk need to know that now obama is a seriously flawed candidate and I have to ask this question:

If our choices are doing the right thing and losing with Obama because fair is fair OR doing the wrong thing and winning with fewer-delegates Hillary, what should super-delegates do? I think you know my answer but maybe you obama folk need to re-examine yours. There are more questions on the table then there were before he held this whoremedia driven press conference.
