Yes, today was a bad day. HOWEVER, keep your heads up. :)Obama will kick her ass in North Carolina. Then he will at least keep it close in Indiana. YES, I know that the Susa poll shows her within 5 in North Carolina but that is not gonna happen. Susa showed her within 9 when others had him 20+. Just ignore the Hillbots and let them have their day. We will have ours on Tuesday night!!!

|
To put the Rev Wright issue to bed, permanantly. That to me is a GOOD day.

He has a big fight ahead of him. He's fighting Hilary, the republicans party, John McCain and the right -wing radio and Tv parrots. I think he's doing pretty damn good considering what he's up against.

13. Well, I haven't been here today but once I got on the board |
|
but the minute I got on I saw that she was leading in Gallup, within 5 (supposedly..lol) of him in North Carolina and that she was gaining in SD's. That on top of the media pushing that Wright crap is bound to make anyone that supports him feel a little down. I trust Barack completely though. He will pull through. When they try to knock him down he comes back stronger.

7. I've almost completely stopped paying attention. |
|
This thing, for all intents and purposes, has been over since February. Everything HRC's done since then is just making noise, and it hasn't netted her anything much in terms of delegates.
So fuck it.

10. Why was this a bad day? Obama cleared the air and wiped the slate |
|
clean; now Clinton nor the rethugs have anything to gripe about. The media will eek out the last dregs, and that will be that. Sounds good to me.

12. No, the past two days have been bad. Today was a step in the right direction. |
|
I think he's put the Wright issue to bed. He did well today.
He's about to hit 1.5 million donors.
Hillary exposes herself a little more everyday for the monster she is.
He rises above. She sinks to the gutter.
I have no fear. This is his. It will all be over soon.
No amount of lying or Rovian tactics will change this now.

14. Today was an tenuous day; not necessarily bad though. |
|
Obama did what he needed to do however unpleasant. He moves on into the GE from here and moves away from Wright. The air has been left out of the Wright balloon and the GOP will not be able to use it against Obama.

15. I agree this is the only poll which shows it close in NC |
|
and African-American turnout in NC will be 40% not 31 or 32% like this and some other polls are saying and Obama will win that vote with near 90%. He will also get a decent chunk of the white vote and his victory will be truly in the double digits.
As for Indiana, Obama will keep it close.
Between the two states next Tuesday Obama will get a big chunk of delegates. All he needs is 134 more delegates to win the pledged delegate race. He will go a long way towards that on Tuesday.

Things are going as they need to. Obama supporters do not have to feel pressured into taking "sides" on the Wright "controversy." It is what it is, and we are under no obligation to allow a wedge to be applied to our support for Barack Obama.

|
The same Hillary supporters who said she won PA by 10% will be saying she got it down to single digits in NC

That's what Hilary and the other people who are against him, would like you to do. I don't know about you guys, but this makes me want to fight even harder.
