Rasmussen: Ohio Bush 46% Kerry 42%
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/

Last month it was 46-44 for Bush

Men favor Bush by 9-points and women are evenly divided.

Bush approval in Ohio is 51%.

Still very competitive and poll taken from June 1-30--15,000 so prior to Edwards.

2. Rasmussen is definitely republican-biased
Bush almost never drops below 50 percent in this poll.

5. I would say just about ALL of them are
I now believe, after careful study, that as the Busheviks have forced Major Sea Changes in Parsitizing and Ending Journalistsic Ethics, they have done the same thing to polling operations.

In both cases, the Bushevik Lie Laundry has actually been woven into the fabric of the system, changing those systems and parasitizing them.

Just as the Busheviks used to do to OTHER Third-World Nations they conquered.

3. Yes
I know someone who has absolutely no reason to vote for Bush, but he's a "Republican" so blind obedience is in order.

10. Yes.
Yes, they are. Outside of the good parts of Northeast Ohio, the state is basically Appalachian, complete with hillbillies.

12. Don't think the folks in Toledo would agree
Having spent a lot of time in northwest Ohio, I can't imagine anyone considering it Appalachian in any way.

16. Well, not to be insulting . . .
but I'm sure the hard core Bush supporters are thinking the exact same think about Kerry's supporters. Hell, probably worse. Not only to they think we're stupid, they probably think we're a bunch of baby-killing sodomites.

I think it's high time that DU'ers accept the fact that a very large portion of the population sees the world very differently than we do. Calling these people stupid might make us feel good, but it doesn't broaden support for the ticket.

17. Stupid Is as Stupid Does
I asked if the were stupid, I didn't call them stupid. And I don't give a damn what they might think, if we started worrying about what they thought we might as well give up now and say f**k it.

As for baby killing I guess they would know more about that, as long as it's brown skinned babies that are dying.

If you care so much about what they think then great, but I don't. Time to come off the fence and take a stand, and being concerned about what the other side thinks is sitting on the fence. Just my opinion.

4. As Rasmussen was on Fox
Cheney him...

Hopefully after monday, there will be a boycott of Fox by anyone who wishes to be taken seriously.

They can scream, rant, and rave all they want, but when those memos come out--folks should boycott being on Fox.

9. Edwards
Edited on Fri Jul-09-04 03:22 PM by fujiyama
definetely helps in this state. He did quite well there in the primaries, especially with moderates.

Bush may have a slight advantage there, as the state party has been a mess from what I've heard, but Kerry is proving to be very competetive -- there and in FL, the two big swing states. The polls in both those states have been all over the place, but especially in OH.

13. Hate to hear that, but...
...the Zogby Poll headlines yesterday said:

Released: July 08, 2004
Kerry-Edwards Pulls In Ahead of Bush-Cheney 48%-46%; No Big Bounce for Kerry; Country Still Evenly Divided in Red and Blue States; Nearly One in Ten Likely Voters Say that “Their Vote is Not Counted Accurately,” New Zogby America Poll Reveals

Lets hope we can hold on.

15. It's actually not bad at all
The key is Bush's share of the vote, and he's 4 points under where he was in 2000.

14. Keep in mind, Bush got 50 percent of the vote there in 2000
so he's running 4 points behind his pace of four years ago. With the undecideds likely to go overwhelmingly for Kerry-Edwards, Ohio is very much up for grabs.
