Kerry: stop running away from Dem rank & file. We loathe Bush
and his administration. Stop trying to sugar coat this with optimism and happy faces - you look foolish.
I'm thinking of the show biz rally last night wherein the "stars" unloaded on dubya.
Dude - many (most?)of us feel this way - don't flee from us and try to pretend our hatred is illegitimate. We are real and you have to accept us and if you are smart you will take our passion and work with it instead of trying to deny that we exist.
Recall what happened in 2002 when we tried to be Bush-lite?
Don't listen to the DLC fatcats - that is the road to defeat.
Mark my words.

1. well I had thought
he should remain positive..but the latest Bush ad is the last straw. Attacking him for not showing up to vote except for abortion. Kerry needs to run an ad asking why Bush isnt demanding a CIA head ona platter if they are truly the ones who botched Iraq.

4. yes
if Kerry isn't fulfilling his duties as Senator, what does it mean for you as President to be campaigning in Pennsylvania, etc, when we're trying to get out of a mess in Iraq among other things? dereliction of duty, Mr Bush!

2. Kerry Is A presidential Candidate Not An Actor
Those of us not running for President can say anything we want. Those of us running for President have to consider what kind of candidate the American people want. The average voter doesn't want a candidate who stands up and screams names at the other side. They just want a candidate who talks about the issues that are important to their lives. The average voter wants a candidate who gives them
hope and optimism. A candidate who can speak of a better day. A candidate who thinks that America can do better.

3. Kerry is being plenty tough on Bush/Cheney
try yahoo news in the politics section. . .he blasts them daily.

He is also presenting a positive vision of what the Dems will do. . .
