Within states, evenly divided or single party domination? |
|
In 2000, we won just 2 states (RI + NY) with at least 60% of the vote (plus DC). The Rs won just 7 states with at least 60% of the vote (WY, ID, UT, NE, ND, OK, SD).
Question:
This time around, are we even more polarized (particularly on a regional level) so that more states will be won with such great margins? In other words, is California becoming more Democratic (for example) and South Carolina more Republican? Or, will more states vote like FL, right on the bubble?
