We all know they are furiously digging for one. Of course, it won't matter if there is any truth in it.

I don't think they would go after Edwards on this, he would so eat their lunch. Kerry would be a more attractive target anyway. My thoughts are that Kerry is way to smart to let them get away with it, and would manage to turn the tables right back on them.

And I'm sure they started digging on Edwards long before the VP pick, since he's been popular for some time.

But I don't think there's anything there for either Kerry or Edwards. And I sure hope Kerry checked that out thoroughly before the pick (which I'm sure he did).

Somehow I think the right wing smear machine has lost a lot of credibility with the McCain love child smear and the phony intern Kerry affair smear. I bet there are more skeletons in Bush's past and I wouldn't mind too much if Larry Flynt or Kitty Kelly do a trashy Bush expose as long as it comes soon and has truth behind it and does not hit right before the election or have any affiliatiion with Dems.
