For those who can't quit pastorbating.
Check this video of John Hagee.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qNi7tPanUA

I couldn't post it in videos because someone posted it earlier and it sunk surprisingly fast. Anyway, point is, people are all over Obama about Wright when what he says isn't 1/10th as vitriolic as John Hagee. I'm not saying I fully agree with Wright on everything but in the quest to smear Obama we may get someone in the White House who sought the approval of a pastor thats way worse. Its interesting how the MSM and even people on the blogs aren't pursuing this more strongly. I'm a white guy but i'm going to play the "race card" on this one, just like McCain and Hillary don't have their patriotism questioned for not wearing a flag pin because whiteness denotes patriotism automatically, its OK for the white guy to have the crazy pastor but not the black guy.

2. Personally I think Obama has handled
Pastorgate well. In a way, Pastorgate was a good thing for Obama politically. It's a lot like when Bill Clinton cut off Sister Soulah.

Most of those people who were on the fence about Obama because of race will probably accept Obama's explanation. Of course, there were a lot of people who were never, ever going to vote for any Democrat anyway.

3. Obama did handle it well.

He was gracious. His first speech, (The Speech) was not only a brilliant piece on race relations in this country, but it was also designed to give Rev. Wright enough room to duck out of the spotlight or say something conciliatory. Obama was trying to protect Wright.

Wright squandered that opportunity, and instead came out shooting off his mouth and saying things that were just downright stupid and hurtful to the Democratic Party, the black community and Obama's campaign.

Obama was patient. He tried to be the adult in the room and tried to let everyone off saving a little face. Wright didn't take Obama's help, but instead lashed out against him, so Obama did what he had to and severed his ties to him.

Now Wright can say whatever he wants, but he only hurts himself - the Obama campaign can just dismiss him and say "We've already told you - we think he's nuts!"
