Wow! My Repug friend is "ready for a change!" |
|
While IM'ing with one of my diehard Repug classmates last night, she mentioned something about this "crazy and insane war." I asked if she would be voting for Bush, and she said, "I think we're ready for a change." I almost fell off my chair, as we've had many arguments about Bush's supposed "moral values" (as opposed to Clinton's problems). She did say she didn't think Kerry's the man for the job because he's "too kind." I responded with my favorite quote (by another MA representative, former House Speaker John McCormack), "I always try to be kind, but don't mistake kindness for weakness." The only good thing she said about Bush was that she "still thinks he's a cutie." BLAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! If SHE'S saying these things, there may be hope!

In that "mildly retarded" type of role that he seems to get a lot.
