3. One of the panelists on Chris Matthews proclaimed this.
He stated it as a fact in the "tell me something I don't know" segment.

4. David Brooks, I think. I heard it as an announcement. ?
Maybe he was being funny or thought he was. It was so quick without other comment. Brooks was not a happy camper today.

let this be true. After his eulogy for his dad he really won me over. He was fantastic on Al Franken's show. . .Really grounded,
thoughtful, funny, and a self described "progressive". And he mows his own lawn.

How would any of us feel if our father's legacy was heisted by a pissant like *. . .? Or if we had to listen to him drone on at our father's state funeral when * barely even knew Reagan.

They brought this on themselves.

RPR said that his wife Doria insists that they met GWB back then but he doesn't remember it and can't repeat how she described the encounter on the public airwaves.

Also a little known fact. . .during GHWB's presidency at a state dinner when the where entertaining HRH Queen Elizabeth, Barbara Bush made sure that GWB was seated at the far end of the table for fear that he would embarrass the queen. That would have been long after he allegedly sobered up.
