Ron Reagan Jr. on F9/11, Hardball, Monday
Well, this ought to be interesting.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036697/

"Fahrenheit 9/11": Some call it eye-opening, others call it shameless propaganda. Either way, becauseof it, politics may never be the same. Ron Reagan joins Chris for a special report. 'Hardball with Chris Matthews' airs 7 p.m. ET. Repeats at 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. ET

1. Today I heard Chris M. say Fahrenheit changed his views on the war.
I think he should have already known, but it was good to hear him say it.

3. He said it is moving, but propaganda and full of distortions!!!
Edited on Sun Jul-11-04 08:41 PM by emulatorloo
That has been his line on F911 for the past few shows.

He made the claim to Howard Dean that Moore claims that Bush is in cahoots with Osama Bin Laden. . .which of course Moore does not make at all. I found that really bizarre.

On the other hand he said the movie effectively made a point about how poor people sent off to fight rich men's war.

On Edit: Matthews was never big on the war. . .especially visible to me around the 16 words scandal -- he called reasons for going BS. . . .

4. I saw him say that, but he also said with the look of glee in his face, as
if he was wanting to substantiate it.

5. Or maybe it was just a Dean Trap!!!!
Maybe he was just trying to get Dean to say something outrageous; Dean handled him well, as always.

9. Even this board had lots of cruds. (early 2002 late 01 circa)
Edited on Tue Jul-13-04 01:22 AM by LimpingLib
I remember during the days when a vocal minority (about 30 or so posters)was posting endless evidence about Bush knowing about 9/11 before the fact and that many arogant posters were saying deragatory things about those of us advocating the view. Some even suggested banning us all as an "embarrasment" or something to that effect.

At least Matthews is a big TV guy and has an excuse (namly "conspiracy wackos arent allowed on TV" ) for not speaking out. How on earth so many little people like us humble posters could raise our noses at inquiring minds trying to expose Bush is beyond me.

Anyway I was the biggest wako. I suggested we all burn VCD copys on CD-R of Bush just sitting in the classroom. Some guy named Sterling was going to send me the VHS so I could make a 10 minute or so VCD and send the VCD and CD-R copys back to him so he could start copying and distributing (but the tape never came and he never replied)to other members. I said we could all burn a copy in a few minutes and make like 100 and put them in door's and porches in our town.

I also suggested we copy net text proving Egypt warned Bush 12 days before 9/11 and include that with each VCD. I wisely noticed that the Egypt warning (released on the net around December 1999)was literally a smoking gun and months later the media apparantly proved me right as they lterally went stone cold for 2 days after they did some research and found the Egypt story. I compare those 2 days to the first days Monica was discovered. The media quickly realized the ramifications and tried to sweep it under the rug.

I was amazed at how right I was. I never remember anybody else here mention on the board the Egypt story but were posting 1000s of other pieces of evidence. I just kept repeating it and posting the links . I even propheticaly said we should just repeat that (this was before the media discovered it months later)endlessly as it combined with the Booker video was a clear and present indictment of Bush.

Anyway many of us were treated as lepors around here who tried in the early days to sound the alarm.

8. That the John Birtch Society guy?
Edited on Tue Jul-13-04 01:04 AM by LimpingLib
Im rubbing my eyes. I wont believe its actualy him saying these things (voting for a Democrat??!!!!)till I see a picture . Anyway if I see a dark skinned, black haired guy with a "lower" beard (whats those beards shaved off near the side burns, but left on your chin called?) in a pic (he's Mexican on 1 side) beside the article then Ill know its him.And still wont believe it. This guy literaly fills every John Birtch Society magazine with endlessly long right wing articles (like 10 pages per article and he does about 4 articles per issue , in a 50 page mag) , he's about all that left of that cult. Im going by memory from 5 years ago when I read alot of the issues.

And people say Nader only takes votes from liberals. More proof the Nader bashers are full of a load of the worst smelling kind. Not only are they suggesting in an extremely undemocratic fashon that progressives just roll over and die (instead of florishing like in Canada and every other nation) but their political calculations are just way off. I used to wonder if they (Nader haters) actualy thought things through before they opened their traps endlessly but now I realize its just a reflex like vomiting.

12. I was talking about William Norman Grigg
Thi guy is a hard core right winger and I mean HARD CORE.

Granted he never found much to like about anybody in the GOP and bashed them endlessly but Democrats were like the head you never shrunk (better explain this one , Brazilian head shrinkers only ever shrunk heads of fellow Indians , they didnt bother killing whites because they felt they had totally different souls than Indians , they just let them alone)

11. whatever
polls clearly show Nader takes more votes from liberals, despite this isolated case. And even without Nader this guy clearly wouldn't be voting for Bush.

>>More proof the Nader bashers are full of a load of the worst smelling kind.

Take a look at your insides.
