Serious question? Do the terrorist want America to have a Republican
or Democrat for President?

Why?

Would they really try to attack us again - or leave us alone -depending on which way they think they can influence the election.

They want to turn USA into Saudi Arabia, so we know what's it's like to have a ruling elite and being powerless to change it.

It explains why Al-Qaeda would want Bush to win this election.

6. They don't want either, they want Bush.

Bush is the perfect fool. He reacted exactly the way that Bin Laden wanted him to react. His cowboy rhetoric and his invasion of a Muslim nation that had done us no harm and presented no threat was exactly what they wanted. Bushes castration of the Bill of Rights was an added bonus. Bin Laden played him. The goal of the 911 attacks was to instigate a world wide Jihad. Bush is helping to bring it about.

7. The destruction of America is a secondary goal
The destruction of America is a secondary goal. Don't get me wrong, it's one of their goals, but it IS a secondary one. The primary goal of groups like al Queda is to extract America from Middle Eastern politics. So in that respect, they might prefer a Democrat, or else an old-school Republican who believes in isolationism.

On the other hand, the NeoCon Republicans do things on a regular basis that infuriates the Middle Eastern population, and in turn swells support for terrorist groups like al Queda. Bush has done more to promote al Queda than Osama bin Laden ever could. So in that respect they want a NeoCon Republican like Bush or Cheney to keep giving them fuel for the fire.

12. Who cares what they want?
What the terrorists do or do not want is not an issue and it should not be to the American People.

The RW might like to spread the meme that a vote for Kerry is a vote for the terrorists but as far as I'm concerned that just sounds stupid.

We should vote for who we think can best lead our country. F*ck the wants and wishes of a bunch of wacko psychopaths.

14. I agree
I remember in 2000, hearing someon tell me that having a Jewish VP may incite the radical Islamists. My opinion was to hell with that. Yes radical Islamists were an issue then, i.e. U.S.S. Cole. I know most people on here can't stand Joey L, but I'm glad that his running was not determined by the demographic intolerance of terrorists.

While some on here may actually be quietly cheering for the impact the terrorists had on the elections in Spain, countries cannot allow terrorists to dictate things.
