Stupid/wrong political cartoon I saw today in the Colorado Springs Gazette |

It was in some kind of daily paid insert, of which there are a few.
The cartoon featured two gloomy donkeys sitting in a bar, staring into their beers. One said to the other "Gee, I hope the Edwards selection puts some energy into whatshisname's campaign".
Ha ha ha.
Yeah, it seems that none of us Dems have any energy at all. I guess that's why Kerry is breaking all kinds of fund raising records, F9/11 is the most-watched documentary ever (in theaters) and thousands of people turn out to see Kerry/Edwards and other Dem's all the time.
Nope, no energy here...
Interestingly, there are times this silly insert seems downright bi-partisan. They sometimes mock Republicans and also featured a quote one day attributed to our own William Rivers Pitt (I can't remember what it was).

They just continue to make up sh*t. Sounds like a paper owned by murdoch or richard scaiffe. Also looks like the toons they have on the cnn web site.
Who was the artist that penned that toon?

I remember that paper from when I was in the army. It's not owned by Murdoch. It's a far right rag. They pander to far right extremists. Unless that paper has changed much, the Gazzette Telegraph would tell you that Murdoch was too moderate. It's part of the freedom network -- Whatever the cheney that is.
